STED Membership Program
S.T.E.D Standby Telemedicine Emergency Deployment is a member subscription program to provide 24Hr 365 Days Emergency Medical Assistance anytime anywhere. It incorporates Physician Standby Services and Remote Integrative Specialist Consultations with Telemedicine to provide Emergency Assistance and Deployment in the event
of a crisis.
Importance of S.T.E.D
In todays working society the strong emphasis of duty of care, safe practices together with strict workplace health and safety guidelines, any accident no matter how small it may be would have a profound impact on not only the casualty but on the employer and the company leading to stop work orders, litigation and even corporate financial downturn.
The STED Membership program is designed to provide a cost effective pay-as-you-go Emergency Medical Assistance to both Local (Inland/Inshore) and International Companies specialising in Offshore, Maritime, Shipping and Commercial Diving (air, mixed gas and saturation ).
The Standby Telemedicine Emergency Deployment (S.T.E.D) Program is for:
- Decompression Illness & Cerebral Artery Embolism
- In Saturation Chamber Emergency– loss of consciousness, heart attack, epilepsy etc
- On board vessel emergency – appendicitis, head trauma, traumatic limb amputation etc
- Emergency Heli- Evacuation, Air/Sea Ambulance Deployment and Retrievals from Vessels, Barges, Oil Rigs/Platform etc
- Non-Emergency Remote Medical Assistance – Fever, Diarrhoea, Upper Respiratory Tract Infection etc
- Dental emergencies
All STED Memberships come with an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) developed for 24 Hr Worldwide Emergency Assistance (WWEMA) with optional Remote Integrative Specialist Consultations (RISC).
